We maintain all of our WordPress themes on a shared system called the Theme Blvd Framework, which this Shortcodes plugin takes advantage of to display various elements. The framework version included within your theme is separate from the actual theme version.
As our theme framework is always growing, it’s also worth noting that the most current version of your theme unfortunately may not always have the latest version of the Theme Blvd framework. We’re always working to keep all themes up-to-date, but themes are not all updated at once.
How do you know what framework version your theme contains? — In your WordPress admin, go to Appearance > Theme Options, and scroll down to the footer of the page. Here it will say your current theme version along with the current framework version. Make sure to also take advantage of the link to your theme’s changelog to ensure you’re using the latest version of your theme.
My theme doesn’t have the latest framework version, can I update the framework within the theme? — Unfortunately, no it does not work like this. Updating the framework within a theme is large process that we must perform as we move from one theme to the next, in the course of making updates.
